This tour will be an incredible experience for you, we will visit places where important events occurred in Inca times, in this tour we will visit the different archaeological complexes.

TARAY VIEWPOINT
Taray viewpoint, place from which we will be able to observe the Sacred Valley of the Incas, this will show us the great beauty of the landscape between mountains, cultivated fields and of course the magnificent Vilcanota river.
ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK OF PISAC + HANDICRAFT CENTER OF GOLDSMITHING
Its name comes from a bird called Pisaqa, moreover it is said that possibly could have followed in its construction a plane in the form of the bird. ARCHAEOLOGICAL COMPLEX OF OLLANTAYTAMBO.
Ollantaytambo archaeological complex is located in the town of Ollanta. According to its shape and place of its construction could have served as a place in which the Inca nobility lived, this place served as inspiration and as a place in which the work Ollantay (author: anonymous) was developed (work that tells the story of an Inca general named Ollantay which falls in love with Cusi Coyllor the daughter of the Inca ruler Pachacutec a forbidden love which will have a happy ending).
ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE OF CHINCHERO + TEXTILE INTERPRETATION CENTER:
Chinchero is synonymous of living culture, in this place the ancestral culture is still rooted and we will confirm it when we see people proudly wearing their typical costumes, as well as we can also observe the process of the elaboration of textiles following ancestral forms of weaving, spinning and dyeing of garments using herbs, minerals, which allow them to obtain desired colors. Possibly these colors would also have served to differentiate social status.
- Pick up between 8:00 am – 8:30am
- Departure time: 9:00 am we head to the town of Pisaq.
Our first stop will be at the Taray viewpoint.
Then we will visit the archaeological complex of Pisaq where we will receive information about the archaeological complex from our guide and we will also visit the goldsmith handicraft center. When we finish with the town of Pisaq we continue our tour to the towns of Calca and Urubamba where a delicious buffet lunch prepared with typical dishes and Andean products awaits us, after this lunch we will continue our tour to the town of Ollantaytambo where we will go to the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo also to the town center.
At the end of our tour in the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo and returning to the city of Cusco we will visit the archaeological site of Chinchero and the textile interpretation center. Approximately our tour will be ending at 7 pm.
