Huasao Wetland

General information:

This tour is one of the most unmissable in Cusco, this tourist attraction shows a magnificent wetland, which makes it a great natural space as it houses a great diversity of local flora and fauna, also observe some wood carvings representing fictional characters such as ‘Groot’, ‘Baby Groot’ and ‘Ents’. Come visit these beautiful wetlands, it is an excellent opportunity to escape from the daily routine and have a connection with nature.

This tour starts at 8:30 am, picking you up from your hotel to take you to the mobility to go to the south of Cusco, to reach Huasao which the stretch takes about 45 minutes to reach the tourist attraction. Arriving at the magnificent wetlands, we will begin to follow a path that each part we will have the opportunity to enjoy the sculptures of movie characters that measure approximately between 1 and 3 meters high. We will also enjoy the flora and fauna of the place and especially the birds of the area, after finishing our tour we will enjoy a mistura of local food, where we will taste typical dishes made in the same area. After lunch we will return to the imperial city of Cusco for approximately 45 minutes in our transport and ending the tour at approximately 3:00 pm.
