7 Ausangate Lagoons

GENERAL INFORMATION:

This mind-blowing excursion has a duration of 1 day, where you will have the privilege of visiting beautiful lagoons of different colors: turquoise, brown, black, reddish and among other tonalities depending on the seasonality, it belongs to the imposing mountain range of Vilcanota, you will have a magnificent view of Ausangate mountains (the highest mountain of Cusco 6384 m.a.s.l.). Finishing these incredible lagoons, we head to the hot springs where we will also enjoy the scenic surroundings of the place.

We pick you up from your hotel at 3:00 a.m., to embark on a great adventure and arrive at the Pacchanta community, where we will have breakfast. After breakfast we will head uphill with a moderate pace towards the Andes Mountains to explore the incredible 7 lagoons, at the beginning we will walk about 6 km to reach the first lagoon, continuing with the tour we will visit each beautiful lagoon with a stretch of 10 km and 5 hours of walking. Finishing the visit to these imposing lagoons, we will continue with the visit to the hot springs and also our delicious lunch, then return to the imperial city of Cusco.
